SDSU Statesmen alumni are invited to join together in Brookings April 10–11, 2026, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the SDSU Statesmen.

Alumni will have the opportunity to sing Randall Thompson’s The Testament of Freedom alongside the outstanding SDSU Wind Symphony and current Statesmen as part of the SDSU School of Performing Arts celebration of the 250th anniversary of the birth of our nation.

Music Details

To support alumni participation, the School of Performing Arts has partnered with Choral Tracks, allowing each vocal part to be listened to online so participants can learn their music comfortably, at their own pace and on their own schedules.  

  • Music: The Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson for Men’s Voices
    • Approximately 25 minutes long
  • Where to get the music: Please contact Popplers Music and request The Testament of Freedom for TTBB for the “SDSU Statemen Reunion.”  Please note there is an SATB version but that is not the one you want.
  • Link to Choral Tracks: Please note there are multiple links per song, each one focusing on a specific voice part that is sung louder than the other parts.
