If you make an unrestricted gift, the SDSU Alumni & Foundation — along with our Executive Committee and SDSU leadership — will use your gift in an area of highest priority to make an immediate impact.

Many funds, programs, and gifts are governed by a memorandum of agreement clearly stating the donors’ intentions for that funding. The SDSU Alumni & Foundation and all university offices that will play a role in using the gift maintain copies of the agreement.

The SDSU Alumni & Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In addition to making an impact at SDSU, you may be able to receive tax savings for your gift. We recommend consulting with your tax advisor and attorney to determine the best strategy for you. We’ll provide a receipt indicating the value of your gift for your records.
