The SDSU Retiree's Association brings together former faculty and staff united by their service to South Dakota State University. Through continued involvement in university activities and connection with fellow retirees, the association supports lifelong engagement, shared interests, and a lasting relationship with SDSU.
Discount Card
Retired employees of South Dakota State University are eligible to receive a free discount card from the SDSU Alumni & Foundation as a thank you for years of service to South Dakota’s premier university. Designed to recognize that service and encourage continued connection, the card offers discounts on select campus activities and facilities, listed below.
The card is available to all retired SDSU employees, including faculty, CSA, and NFE. There are no dues or fees, and participation is completely optional. Employees who resign from SDSU are not eligible.
To receive your card at no cost, simply complete the form below.
Discounts Include:
- 10% off at the University Bookstore or Jackrabbit Central in downtown Brookings
- Valid on in-store purchases only. Discount card can be combined with Jackrabbit Club member discounts.
- Eligibility for membership at the Miller Wellness Center for $40/month or $400 annually
- Free admission for you and three guests to McCrory Gardens and 10% off gift shop purchases
- A community user account at Hilton M. Briggs Library
- Special offers and promotions throughout the year from the South Dakota Agricultural Heritage Museum, South Dakota Art Museum, Jackrabbit Athletics, and the School of Performing Arts
