Join the TC Jackrabbits alumni chapter for a Jacks Give Back volunteer opportunity at the Ronald McDonald House at the University of Minnesota on Monday, April 20.

Volunteers will help prepare and serve the evening meal for families staying at the house.

Volunteer Requirements & Reminders

Please review the following guidelines before signing up:

  • Volunteers must be at least 14 years old
    • 14-17-year-olds must also be accompanied by at least one adult (18+ and out of high school)
  • A valid driver's license or state ID is required for check-in (Lobby Guard screening)
  • Volunteers should be healthy and symptom-free.
    • Do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to illness
  • Masks are optional, but encouraged for those who prefer additional protection

Arrival Instructions

Volunteers should arrive at:

621 Oak Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414

All doors are locked – please use the call box to be let in.

Staff will greet you and provide directions once inside.

 

Parking Recommendations (in order)

Parking near the Ronald McDonald House is limited. Please plan ahead and prioritize the following options:

  1. Carpooling (strongly encouraged)
    Coordinate with your group and meet at a central location before arriving
  2. Oak Street Parking Ramp
    401 Oak Street SE (paid parking)
    1. $3/hr (9 AM–3 PM, weekdays)
    2. $1/hr (all other times)
  3. Metered Street Parking – Fulton Street (paid)
  4. Street Parking – East River Parkway
    1. Free and metered options available
    2. Slightly longer walk to the House
  5. RMH Parking Lots (limited availability)
    1. 620 Ontario Street SE
    2. 818 Fulton Street SE

 

Please note that parking is prioritized for the families staying at the House. Thank you for your cooperation and flexibility.
