Join the Sioux Falls Area Jacks alumni chapter for a morning of service at Feeding South Dakota during Jacks Give Back. 

Volunteers will help pack fresh and nonperishable food items in an assembly line format to support individuals and families across our state.

All participants must complete a Feeding South Dakota volunteer waiver before participating.

Arrival Note:
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before 9:00 AM. If you have not yet completed the waiver, we recommend arriving earlier to allow time for check-in.

Volunteer Responsibilities

Feeding South Dakota volunteers assist with a variety of tasks depending on the needs of the day, including:

  • Packing boxes for mobile food distributions and the Senior Box Program
  • Preparing bags for the BackPack Program
  • Sorting produce or other donated items

Every task supports the mission to end hunger in South Dakota.

 

Volunteer Information

  • Parking: East side of the building
  • Check-in: Use the main entrance and check in with reception
  • Water: Bottled water is available
  • Clothing: Dress in comfortable clothing in layers; fully enclosed shoes required (No Crocs or sandals)
  • Valuables: Please leave purses, backpacks, and other valuables locked in your vehicle
