Lace up and join Jackrabbits everywhere for the Jacks Virtual 5K, happening any day you choose in April!

A virtual 5K means you decide when, where, and how you participate. Run, jog, or walk – on a trail, sidewalk, treadmill, or track. It's up to you! This year, proceeds from the event will benefit Jack’s Cupboard, helping SDSU students facing food insecurity.

One of the benefits of a virtual race is that you can customize your level of participation to accommodate your fitness level. Check out our participation levels below.

Register by March 2 to receive your exclusive race t-shirt.

Share Your Run

We love seeing how Jackrabbits participate from near and far! We encourage you to share your race photos on social media using #JacksVirtual5K and tag us @sdsualumnifoundation so we can cheer you on and share your posts.

This year, we’ll be collecting some optional fun details — such as states represented, fastest times, and participant age ranges — to help us celebrate our runners. A submission form will be available here closer to April.

About Jack's Cupboard

Proceeds from this year's Jacks Virtual 5K will go toward supporting Jack's Cupboard, helping combat food insecurity by providing free food resources to SDSU students who need extra support.
