Steve Erpenbach is the Chief Executive Officer of the SDSU Alumni & Foundation. He previously served as the President and CEO of the SDSU Foundation. He graduated from SDSU with a bachelor of arts in journalism in 1985. Steve, a native of Mitchell, SD, joined the team in 2004.

SDSU has been intertwined in virtually every aspect of my life for the past four decades – from great friendships made during college, to meeting my wife working at The Collegian, and the opportunity to meet literally thousands of alumni and donors through my time at the SDSU Alumni & Foundation. It’s far beyond anything I could have dreamed of as a 17-year-old freshman moving into 111 Binnewies Hall to have the privilege to work here.
