Pierre Lear joined the SDSU Alumni & Foundation in 2026 as a Development Officer. Pierre earned both his bachelor’s degree in sport and recreation management and master’s degree in sport administration from South Dakota State University. As a former NCAA Division I track and field student-athlete, he developed a deep appreciation for the opportunities and relationships that make SDSU special. Pierre and his wife, Shania, enjoy spending time with their son, Oliver, and being actively involved in their faith and community.
