Ned Gavlick is the Associate Vice President for Gift Planning. He started at the SDSU Alumni & Foundation in 2016, most recently serving as the Director of Gift Planning before moving into his current role. Ned also served as the Development Officer for the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering. Before joining the team, Ned worked with Friends of South Dakota Public Broadcasting and Jackrabbit Athletics. Ned originally hails from Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2001. Ned and his wife, Jenny, have two daughters, Danielle and Aubrey.

Being a part of the Jackrabbit family is something truly special. So many alumni and friends coming together through their generosity to make South Dakota State University a premier destination for students...it’s wonderful to see.
