Portfolio Management Specialist

A proud graduate of SDSU and a South Dakota native, Brittney Pohlen ’16 joined the SDSU Alumni & Foundation team in March 2026 as Portfolio Management Specialist. With a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Brittney brings a multi-faceted professional background that includes experience in data entry, small business ownership, teaching kindergarten, and serving in a leadership role within the childcare field.

Brittney and her husband, Cody ’16, a fellow Jackrabbit, have three children: Harper, Makenna, and Beckham. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, attending sporting events, staying active, and spending time outdoors.

SDSU has always felt like one big family. I am excited to be a part of an organization that continually enhances that experience for past, present, and future Jackrabbits.
