His bestselling books include "The Soul of America," "His Truth Is Marching On" (a biography of John Lewis) and "And There Was Light," a portrait of Abraham Lincoln. His latest book, “American Struggle,” covers a wide spectrum of history, from 1619 to the 21st century.
Meacham’s remarkable body of work includes biographies of George H.W. Bush, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson, as well as co-authoring "Impeachment: An American History." A regular guest on programs such as "Morning Joe" and "Real Time with Bill Maher," he has also appeared in Ken Burns' "The Roosevelts."
